At Ulvön At Ulvön there you always find something to do. Choose to take your swim from the cliffs or from the shallow and child friendly beaches. We have a tennis court, streetbasket, frisbeegolf and rowing boats that you can hhire or borrow.   We have a new woodfired sauna on a raft that will be anchored just outside Ulvön, it is lovely to take a sauna and then drop into the sea!! From Ulvön you can go for a trip on the sea. The old boat M/S Gustafsberg traffic between Ljungskile, Ulvön and other nice places. In Ulvesund

In Ulvesund there is also a greenhouse there you can find everything to your garden and they have a café there local artists shows their products.

Above the center of Ljungskile, at Bredfjället you find beatiful nature trails that suits everyone. 

 

Ljungskile SK, plays football in Allsvenskan, the highest division in Swedish football. The small but cosy arena is something much different to other football stadiums at this level. The football season starts i April and ends in October with a break for European Championships in June.

 

Rental of kayaks or paddeling courses arrange regular of Friluftsfrämjandet in Ljungskile.

 

With bicycle you will easily go to Ljungskile center or other different places for bathing in the surrounding of Ulvön.

 

 

In the surroundings

Ulvön is a perfect startingpoint to go for daytrips to the small fishing villages at the lovely west coast and at the islands Orust and Tjörn.   At Tjörn you can visit The Nordic watercoulor museum and maybe go for a boattrip to the island Åstol. 

 

In Lysekil they have the aquarium Havets Hus. In the end of July Lysekil arrange the big ailing competition for women Lysekil Womens Match Cup. Nordens Ark, a zoo with nordic animals in natural surroundings is situated close to Lysekil as well. In less than an hour you can be at Liseberg, the great amusement park in Gothenburg.
